Conferences and workshops hosted by the Center.

  • The Grading Conference is the flagship event of the Center for Grading Reform. Hosted virtually each June, we bring together hundreds of postsecondary educators to share innovations and research related to grading in higher education.

  • The inaugural Alternative Grading Institute was held in 2025. This two day intensive, online faculty development workshop helped instructors create a concrete plan for implementing alternative grading in their class the next term.

  • In 2027 we will host the Northeast Regional Grading Symposium, our first in-person conference.
